We regularly receive notifications and questions from enthusiasts to approve their friend requests via Facebook or responses to messages that I would have posted on Facebook.
Unfortunately we have to inform you that the official Ornitho-Genetics Facebook account has been closed since August 2020 and I do not have a personal Facebook account in the name of Dirk Van den Abeele or about birds.
We therefore do not bear any responsibility for comments / reactions on facebook that appear to have been made by us.
On the advice of our Legal Department, we have filed an official complaint against the owners of some Facebook accounts in which the owner pretends to be Dirk Van den Abeele of Ornitho-Genetics and comments on my behalf.
