Agapornis fischeri with…. orange nails…

Sometimes we see phenotypes that are not always easy to explain. Just look at the photo below. This bird clearly has orange nails. The logical question is how that is possible?
Well….
Either it is beautiful work with photoshop (which they assured me is not the case)
Or it is a mutation of the keratin
Or it is an increase in psittacofulvins (psittacine)
Or it is a temporary condition

Who knows, in any case the first test is to make test matings with green wild type birds and see if this phenotype is inherited, because only then can we speak of a mutation.
